Meet the Managing Director

Shaun is a highly motivated and dedicated business owner with almost a decade worth of Pest Control Industry experience. Shaun has come from a Military background serving in both Iraq And East Timor as an infantry soldier for the 3rd Battalion of the Royal Australian Regiment. Shaun has always believed that the Strong qualities that the military instills in its soldiers would supremely benefit his business and ultimately people who engage Geelong Pest Control for any of its available services. How do we achieve these tasks mentioned above?

By creating a working environment, that has a family feel to it. Just like any great family or team, we believe in being accountable for our actions, encouraging high levels of communication amongst our staff and clients and doing our absolute best to not let you, or ourselves down with the quality service we provide.


Shaun and his military friend and business partner started Geelong Pest Control after Shaun’s years of prior experience in the pest control industry. They started with just 1 vehicle and conducted treatments and inspections together.

They experienced rapid growth due to their exceptional customer service and attention to detail which they felt was lacking in the industry, so they decided to purchase a 2nd vehicle in 2014 and worked separately to handle the demand.


Shaun’s business partner decided to pursue a different career and Shaun’s next step was to take full ownership of the company. Shortly after Shaun hired a full time technician who is now our lead technician Nathan.


The workload increased and it was a very busy year for Shaun as the demand was increasing dramatically with only 2 technicians Shaun was not only expected to be a full time tech on the road but also managing the administrative side.


It was time to grow again. Shaun hired a 2nd full time employee who was also an ex military member, to help cover a larger area of Geelong and Surrounding, so a 3rd vehicle entered the fleet.


Word of mouth by this point had now taken full effect and GPC was well and truly established as a clear leader in the Pest Control Industry.

Therefore another vehicle, another technician and Admin staff were hired. All of Shaun’s Staff are either fully qualified or are currently undertaking schooling for Cert III and IV in Pest Management.


GPC has continued from the previous year receiving more raving reviews and therefore more work due to word of mouth. It is now inevitable that the company will have to expand to continue the high quality service that GPC customers have come to expect over the years. All of the GPC staff are now fully qualified in Cert III and IV in Pest Management.


What a crazy year!! COVID-19 has definitely presented some challenges, however GPC has adapted to the changing environment as always and flourished in the “new normal” with more people being home more often, GPC received more calls for help than ever before. It was time to grow and time to restructure… this meant more staff, more vehicles and a new office location.


Continued to be a challenge for Victoria especially, with constant lockdowns and uncertainty. Thankfully, GPC was still extremely busy during this period as we were classified as an essential service, allowing us to continue with our momentum from 2020. With the continuation of the ever growing number of people requiring our services, GPC once again had the opportunity to grow with 2 new technicians to handle the demand for our services. This also meant 2 new vehicles with our team flourishing in the now established new warehouse location.


We continue to expect more challenges in 2022, with the pandemic still looming, but once again, GPC will be up for the challenge and the continued support for our loyal clients and our community as a whole.


In 2023 there have been many changes. 1x New addition to our admin team, 2x new pest control technicians, 3x New fully qualified timber pest experts and 1 more additional warehouse acquisition to accommodate for our extensive growth. GPC is also now officially the largest family owned and operated pest control company in the region.
